There are many gas rebate cards and some offer better
savings then others. When using a gas rebate card you need to
be aware and understand the terms and conditions as well as the
length of the introductory offer. Many times the introductory
offer is fantastic but then decreases quickly. Other times the
rebates may expire if you do not request them within a specific
time period.
One of the best US gas rebate cards is the Open Road Card by
Discover. This card offers a 5% cashback rebate on any auto
maintenance purchases and has 0% APR. You will also get 1% cash
back on all other auto purchases. Another excellent gas rebate
card is the Blue Cash from American Express. You will receive
5% rebate from any gas station.
The Citi Diamond Preferred Rewards Card will award you 5
reward points for every 1$ spent on gas station purchases. You
can save 3 cents per gallon when using the Wal-mart credit card
at any Wal-mart or Sam's clubs. The Shell MasterCard from
Citibank has a great introductory rate of 5% rebate of shell
gas purchases and 1% rebate on any general purchases but the
rebates to have a time limit.
The Citgo Preferred Platinum Visa from Citibank pas 1% back
on everything and it will come directly on your card statement.
The Speedway SuperAmerica card give 10,000 bonus points when
you use it for the first time. The cash Plus Visa card from
chase is considered to be one of the best long-term gas rebate
cards. You will get 5% back though you can only receive checks
in $50 increments and it can be along time before you build up
enough rebates to receive a check.
There are many other gas rebate cards including the
Valero/Diamond Shamrock card, Holiday Gas Stations for those in
the Midwest, the ExxonMobil MasterCard, Tesoro Petroleum
MasterCard, AAA Diamond Advantage Visa, and Citi Drivers Edge
just to name a few available cards.
